We are pleased to announce the appointment of Melanie Carrol as AIF’s new Executive Officer in succession to Doral Hayes. 

Melanie will bring a wealth of relevant experience to the role.  She is currently the Ecumenical Mission Enabler for Churches Together in All Lincolnshire (a role that is also called County Ecumenical Officer elsewhere); she works with Street Pastors in Lincoln, and has experience as a charity trustee, Fresh Expression church facilitator, and as a spiritual director. With professional experience in management and administration – including Charity Administration – she has strong digital and social media skills which will be most helpful in moving forward our strategy of digital evangelisation. 

We look forward to working with Melanie, and wish Doral all the very best in her new role with Churches Together in England where she will be the Principal Officer for Ecumenical Development and Relations (with effect from 19 September).

Members of the Association will have a chance to meet Melanie either in person or online at our Annual Weekend at Swanwick in November.
